It was like love at first sight. No, i did not mean Humans. The moment i set foot on Newcastle, i knew God had a place for me here. The first few weeks have been so smooth under God's grace, i simply couldn't thank Him enough. People here try to make good first impressions, sometimes they last, sometimes it doesn't.

Whilst being many miles away from the heart of people whom i treasure, i found myself getting closer to them, ironically. You tend to reach out more of their support and talk to them, providing more updates and interesting stories over here, while earnestly listening to the other side as well.

I believe God has a plan for each step of the way. Everything has been going smoothly except the unfriendliness amongst flatmates but it's a test God is putting me through and i thank Him for it.

Earning independence and stepping out of your own comfort zone, i thank my parents for providing me the luxury to be able to do so. For always giving me support, for always providing me more than i ever need and the time nurtured to shape who i am today. I've always been living in the comfort of my family that i have never experienced that much of a hardship, to juggle between studies and work.

Ultimately, my goal is to be able to graduate with a First Class Hons and get a good job that my parents can be proud of. But that's not all, i want to sponsor their air tickets to be able to fly to wherever they want to and provide them with the same luxury they once provided me with.
